I entered this world with a feeling that something was here. And it happened through classical aromatherapy and essential oils. I realised that scent - specifically natural scent, as I had long excluded synthetic fragrances and genuinely couldn't tolerate them - carries potentially powerful emotional significance.
A fragrance can mean something different to each person, but from the vast spectrum of scents, almost anyone will find something that resonates positively with the feeling they want to create. I have crafted countless emotionally supportive blends that continued to offer comfort to my clients long beyond a single moment.
At the same time, growth matters to me. I wanted to expand my palette of raw materials, develop my approach, and grow as a professional. And so, gradually, I moved from classical aromatherapy toward niche perfumery - keeping my sensibility and distinctive approach, while deepening my knowledge of ingredients and developing a more structured way of creating scent.
In my daily practice, I have stayed with fragrance as my medium - it gives me the widest creative freedom. I blend natural raw materials with a carefully chosen selection of molecules that are analogous to natural ones. In niche perfumery, I can work with highly exclusive and costly ingredients: emotionally engaging, rich, multi-layered. The kind that are not used in room fragrances or commercial perfumery. I follow IFRA standards and EU regulations to ensure that everything I create is safe and legally compliant.
Yet my experience is broader. I have created fragrances for brands, exhibitions, concepts, events, fashion shows, products, as well as for meditations and ceremonial moments.
What makes scent so extraordinary is its ability to recall - even in a very physical way - events and feelings. The way you felt on the day you experienced something, created something, began something.
That is why personalised fragrance creation exists. That is why masterclasses exist. That is why an introduction to perfumery exists. To share the feeling that scent can be something more than a fashion trend. That scent can be uniquely and deeply personal - something that is associated with you, with a chapter of your life, an intention, a feeling.
